Travel Recreation is any activity performed during one's leisure or free time. Travel Recreational activities are often done for amusement, enjoyment or pleasure and are considered to be 'fun'.Almost any activity can be considered recreational when engaged in during one's free time.Recreation is the employment of time in a non-profitable way, in many ways also a refreshment of one's body or mind. Recreation is often distinguished from leisure. Where leisure is, or ought to be, restful, recreation is refreshing and diverting.

Travel Recreation, play and fun are not the preserve of humans; nearly all creatures indulge in this to some extent. Play is essential for the development of skills, the most basic of which are motor skills in young creatures. While you likely feel tired and drained after periods of intense labor, you can recover your energies by taking some time to engage in something you enjoy, such as a hobby, your favorite sport or other past time.

The ability to escape from the hectic pace of life and find rest in one of your favorite activities is healthy and wise. When you engage in a favorite activity, you are able to temporarily put aside the aspects of your jobs or lives that so consume you. Technology has advanced from the advent of the first television and made television watching a much more enjoyable experience.
